Gini Dachenhausen of the Danbury LAOH was recently awarded the Past State President's pin. Gini will depart for Bolivia in early January. Gini has made a three-year commitment as a voluteer for the Franciscan Missions. The award was given by Maura O'Connell of Stamford who succeeded Gini as President.

The special Mass was said on the Feast of the Holy Innocents, December 28, at Holy Family Church in Fairfield. State Chaplan, Rev. Fr. Small lead this event on behalf of the State Board. A tea and baked goods social followed the Mass.

This is an annual event held to honor the souls of children who die at a young age. Attending from Stamford were Maura O'Connell, LAOH State
President, Lorraine Sheridan, LAOH State Vice-President and Bill Flannery, AOH State Secretary.

Thanks to Bill Flannery for the above submissions.
